Bad Religion began way back in 1980.  The lineup then was Greg Graffin, Brett Gurewitz, Jay Bentley and Peter Finestone.  How could hell be any worse was the first album released by the band in 1985.  The band then released Into the unknown and then they split up.
It looked as though this would be the end for Bad Religion, but luckily they got back together and in 1988 they released Suffer.  Bad Religion then released No control in 89 and Against the grain in 90.  80-85 was released in 91 and by 92 Peter Finestone was replaced by Bobby Schayer for the release of Generator.
The band then followed with Recipe for hate in 93 and Stranger than fiction in 94.  In 95 Mr Brett was replaced by Brian Baker.  He had become too involved in running Epitaph records and therefore couldn't concentrate on the band.  In 95 they released All ages and in 96 The gray race.
